Salyer McLaughlin
Chairman
Salyer is an award-winning Writer/Director/Producer/Cinematographer and Editor best known for his work for such organizations as the United Nations, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Paul Mitchell, The Humane Society of the United States, Lacoste, Bobby Rahal Racing, Operation Second Chance and National Geographic. His career as a Filmmaker has taken him all over the world during his 30+ years in the business including 15 years in Los Angeles directing national TV commercials, music videos, and Documentaries.
His work has been seen in thousands of theaters nationally and been featured on the covers of national newspapers and magazines receiving multiple Addy, Telly, and International Broadcast Awards. Salyer has been responsible for launching national media campaigns to promote numerous environmental and social causes. The results of those efforts have not only changed the course of U.S. politics, but their creativity and impact have also gained Salyer worldwide press including two appearances on ABC World News.

John Quigley
Director, Environmental Affairs
An award-winning Producer, Artist, and Activist, over his long and storied career, Quigley has created numerous live art events, concerts, videos, and environmental websites.
He has produced projects in association with such luminaries as Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Leo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Prince Charles, Sting, Martin Sheen, Salma Hayek, Pele, Daryl Hannah, Julia Butterfly Hill, Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein, Marshall Herskovitz, and many others from the entertainment industry.
As founder of Spectral Q, the world’s leading ‘Living Aerial Art’ production company, Quigley has created more than 200 Aerial Art images involving over 250,000 people on 7 continents. Quigley’s body of work has been profiled in the London Sunday Times Magazine and has appeared in hundreds of media outlets around the world including Time Magazine, The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, International Herald Tribune, Financial Times, French Geo, Le Monde, Stern, CNN, BBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Discovery Channel, Origins, In Touch Magazine and others.

Rhonda McLaughlin
Director, Social Affairs & Fundraising
Rhonda has over 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, as well as 15 years experience in video production and branding. She serves as a Set Designer and Project Manager for Big Blue Foundation’s feature film productions, as well as the Director of Marketing and Production for commercial production company Big Picture Media. Rhonda is a leader and advocate in the Frederick community, and has been responsible for raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for a wide range of charities and non-profit organizations over a 20-year period.

Bruce McLaughlin
Director, Legal Affairs
Bruce owns and operates a successful private law practice in Leesburg, VA.. He’s a graduate of George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., George Mason University Law School in Arlington, Virginia and Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
A member of the American Bar Association, Virginia State Bar and Loudoun County Bar Association, his key litigation practice areas are Criminal, Business Transactions, Personal Injury/Wrongful Death, and Family Law. He has successfully litigated or settled more than 50 personal injury cases, exceeding $10 million dollars in awards, and has successfully defended a wide variety of criminal cases.
Bruce has also served as an international consultant in the art of negotiations and alternate dispute resolution areas involving mediation, conciliation, and arbitration. Bruce currently makes his home in Frederick, Maryland and is responsible for all legal matters pertaining to the the Big Blue Foundation, including its nonprofit status and IRS quarterly filings.
